Who we are looking for
Foreman
Runs a job: manpower, material, schedule, and the daily conversation with the GC. You own the outcome, not just the install.
Apprentice
You want the trade, not just a paycheque. We will get you hours, classroom and someone who answers questions instead of grunting.
Equipment Operator
Excavator, backhoe, trencher. Underground and duct bank work, in the street and on site.
Estimator
Plans-and-specs commercial takeoff and bidding. If you know NECA labour units and can defend a number, we want to talk.
Project Manager
Buyout, submittals, RFIs, change orders, billing. Keeps the money and the schedule honest on multiple jobs at once.

Journeyman Electrician
Electricians who can take a plan set and a scope and run their own work on a commercial site with minimal supervision, and who make the apprentice next to them better.
What you will do
- Rough-in through trim: feeders, branch circuits, devices, lighting and gear sets on new construction and tenant improvements
- Lay out and install raceway, cable tray and supports to the NEC and the adopted local amendments — in Phoenix that includes a wire-type EGC in every raceway
- Terminate, test and troubleshoot; read one-lines, panel schedules and specifications without being walked through them
- Coordinate with the GC and other trades on site; keep the daily production and the as-builts honest
- Mentor apprentices, and document their hours properly
What we are looking for
- Completed apprenticeship or equivalent commercial hours; a journeyman card where you hold one
- Working knowledge of the NEC and commercial methods; confident blueprint reading and layout
- Own hand tools and a valid driver's licence
- OSHA 30 preferred, OSHA 10 minimum
- Show up every day, on time, safety-minded, and straight with people
Foreman
Crew leaders who run the job in the field: manpower, material, layout and schedule, and the daily conversation with the general contractor. You own the outcome, not just the install.
What you will do
- Lead and schedule a crew; assign and track daily production against the estimate
- Perform layout and direct installation from the contract documents and the approved submittals
- Order and manage material, tools and equipment on site — including the gear whose lead time set the schedule
- Coordinate with the GC, the superintendent and other trades; run the utility cutover sequence when there is one
- Enforce safety and quality; complete daily reports and as-builts
- Develop the journeymen and apprentices on your crew
What we are looking for
- Three or more years running commercial electrical crews
- Strong NEC knowledge, layout and blueprint reading; comfortable with the Valley's city-by-city amendments
- Scheduling and basic production tracking; clear communication with a GC
- OSHA 30; valid driver's licence
- A record of bringing jobs in on time and on budget without cutting the safety corner
Apprentice
Start the trade properly. Apprentices work hands-on under a journeyman on real commercial projects while earning a paycheque and learning the code, the tools and the craft. No experience required — reliability and wanting the trade are what we hire on.
What you will do
- Assist journeymen with conduit bending, pulling wire and terminations
- Install raceway, boxes, devices, fixtures and supports
- Handle and stage material; keep the work area clean and safe
- Learn to read plans and apply the National Electrical Code
- Attend the related apprenticeship coursework — we document your hours so they count toward your licence
What we are looking for
- 18 or older with a high school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Able to lift 50 lb and work on your feet, on ladders and outdoors in a Phoenix summer with the precautions we take seriously
- Enrolled in, or willing to enrol in, a registered apprenticeship
- Basic hand tools, or the willingness to get them; OSHA 10 a plus
Equipment Operator
Operators for the underground and site side of the work: excavator, backhoe and trencher on duct bank, primary, service laterals and the civil that comes with a new electrical service — on site and in the street.
What you will do
- Operate excavator, backhoe, trencher and compaction equipment for electrical underground and site work
- Trench, bed, backfill and compact to the utility standard and the jurisdiction's inspection — APS and SRP both inspect their side
- Read civil and electrical site drawings; set grade and alignment for duct bank and conduit runs
- Work around located utilities and Blue Stake marks with the discipline that work demands
- Maintain the equipment and the daily inspection log
What we are looking for
- Documented experience on excavators and backhoes in a construction setting; trencher experience a plus
- Understanding of utility locating, shoring and trench safety; competent-person training preferred
- Valid driver's licence; a CDL is a plus for roles that move equipment
- OSHA 10 minimum, OSHA 30 preferred
- Comfortable working in the public right-of-way under traffic control
Estimator
Plans-and-specs commercial takeoff and bidding. If you know NECA labour units, can build a bid from a drawing set and defend the number to the owner of the company, we want to talk.
What you will do
- Take off commercial electrical drawing sets: gear, feeders, branch, lighting, site and underground
- Price labour from the NECA Manual of Labor Units and material from vendor quotes, and know which one is moving the number
- Read specifications and addenda for what is actually required, and write inclusions and exclusions that hold up
- Coordinate vendor quotes for switchgear and lighting, and carry the quoted lead times into the proposal
- Hand a won job to the project manager with a budget the field can build to
What we are looking for
- Experience estimating commercial electrical work from plans and specifications
- Working knowledge of NECA labour units and of the NEC as it affects takeoff
- Comfortable with takeoff and estimating software, and with a spreadsheet when the software is wrong
- Able to explain a number and change it when the evidence says so
- Familiarity with APS and SRP service requirements and Valley permitting is a strong plus
Project Manager
Buyout, submittals, RFIs, change orders and billing on several commercial jobs at once. The project manager keeps the money and the schedule honest between the estimate and the closeout.
What you will do
- Buy out the job against the estimate; manage vendor and subcontractor commitments
- Run submittals, RFIs and change orders with the GC and the design team; keep the record clean
- Track cost to complete against budget and say so early when a job is drifting
- Schedule the long-lead items — switchgear, transformers, utility work — and the cutovers they drive
- Bill monthly, chase the paper that gets it paid, and close the job out properly
What we are looking for
- Experience managing commercial electrical projects from award through closeout
- Contract literacy: change orders, schedule of values, lien waivers and retention
- Comfortable with project-management and scheduling software
- Able to hold a schedule conversation with a GC and a cost conversation with an owner
- Familiarity with Valley permitting, plan review and APS or SRP coordination is a strong plus
What the work is actually like
- Commercial and industrial, not service calls. Ground-up buildings, tenant improvements, switchgear, site work. You will not spend your career chasing one bad outlet at a time.
- We self-perform. The electrical, the underground, the mechanical and the general construction are ours. That means more variety, and it means the person you are coordinating with usually wears the same shirt.
- Daytime hours. The standard week is Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Some jobs need night or weekend work and those are paid accordingly, but the default is a daytime schedule you can plan a life around.
- Phoenix heat is real and we treat it that way. Water, shade, electrolytes, and a start time early enough to get the hard work done before the afternoon. Heat-illness prevention is a standing part of our safety programme, not a summer memo.

Frequently asked questions
How do I apply?
Use the application form on the apply page. It asks for the role you want, your experience and certifications, and takes a résumé in PDF or Word. A résumé is optional; a clear account of what you have done is not. Every application is read by a person, and we reply either way.
Do I need my own tools?
Hand tools, yes — the normal journeyman kit. Anything powered, specialty, or expensive is ours. We also run a tool allowance so your kit stays current rather than slowly wearing out on your own money.
Do you take apprentices with no experience?
Yes, for the right person. What we need to see is that you will show up on time every day and that you actually want the trade. We will document your hours properly so the time counts toward your licence, which is something a surprising number of employers get wrong.
Is the work in Phoenix or all over Arizona?
Most Phoenix-based roles work the Valley — Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, Glendale, Peoria and the West Valley. We also run work in Southern Arizona. Travel outside your home metro is not required for most roles, and where a job does need it, it is paid and agreed in advance.
What is the schedule?
Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, as the default. We start early on purpose: in a Phoenix summer the difference between a 6:00 AM start and an 8:00 AM start is the difference between a hard morning and a dangerous afternoon.
Do you drug test?
Yes, and there are job sites that require their own testing on top of ours. It is a construction site with energised equipment and heavy machinery on it; this is not the place to be impaired.
