Business financing through Credit Key

Build Now, Pay Later: Commercial Project Financing

Put the entire project on a business line of credit — the switchgear and wire, the equipment, our installation labor, the permits and the tax. Up to $50,000 with a decision in minutes; $250,000 to $1,000,000 for qualified businesses.

Most contractor financing stops at the equipment. This does not. Because we self-perform the electrical, the underground and the site work under our own licences, the financed amount is our invoice — the gear, the wire, the crews that install it, the permit fees and the sales tax on the job. One application, one approval, one monthly payment to Credit Key while the work gets built. Get pre-approved in minutes, then send us the project.

What gets financed

The whole project on one line of credit

Credit Key is a business lender we work with. They approve the application, set the terms and collect the payments; we build the project and Credit Key pays us for it. We do not extend account terms, carry a balance or send invoices — your payment schedule is with Credit Key. Terms are set by Credit Key and are subject to credit approval.

Materials and gear

Service entrance equipment, panelboards, transformers, feeders, LED lighting and controls — the long-lead gear that usually has to be paid for before it ships goes on the financed invoice, so the order goes in on day one.

Equipment, including mechanical units

New rooftop units and the electrical that feeds them, generators and transfer switches, EV charging equipment — financed as one total instead of a deposit, a progress payment and a final check.

Labor, permits and tax

Our crews' labor, the trenching and pads, engineering and permit fees, and the sales tax on the job are all part of the invoice Credit Key finances. You are financing a finished, inspected project, not a pallet of equipment.

Business customers only. Credit Key underwrites the company on its EIN and business revenue, not the owner's personal credit, and applying does not affect a personal credit score. If the project is at a home, ask us — we will tell you honestly what fits.

How it works

From application to a funded, finished project

  1. Apply once, in minutes. Pre-qualify on Credit Key's secure site before or after you have a bid in hand. The application is digital, asks for the business's EIN and basic financials, and returns a decision on the spot for lines up to $50,000.
  2. We bid the whole scope. Send drawings, a scope or a description of the problem. We come back with a line-item bid for the complete project — equipment, labor, site work, permits and tax — the same bid we would give a cash customer. There is no financing surcharge on our side.
  3. Approve the bid; we bill it through Credit Key. Once you accept the proposal, we send the invoice through Credit Key instead of asking for a deposit and progress checks. Credit Key pays us; the material gets ordered and the crews get scheduled the same way any funded job does.
  4. Pay Credit Key over time. Net 30 at 0% interest, or spread it out — fees start at 1% a month after the first 30 days, with terms up to 24 months.

Two tiers

Up to $50,000 instantly. Up to $1,000,000 for qualified businesses.

The instant decision covers a business line of credit up to $50,000 — enough for most service upgrades, lighting retrofits, generator installs and tenant-improvement electrical packages. That is the tier most commercial customers use, and the approval typically comes back while you are still on the page.

Larger projects — a new service and distribution for an expansion, a full lighting and controls replacement across a building, a multi-scope design-build — can be financed on lines from $250,000 up to $1,000,000. Those are available to qualified businesses with additional documentation and underwriting: Credit Key will ask for the extra financials and take a closer look. Apply the same way; the process simply has one more step.

The decision is Credit Key's. Ours is the bid.

Who it is for

The projects Valley businesses finance

It fits the jobs that get put off because the check is large and the cash is working elsewhere: the panel that has been at capacity for two years, the tenant build-out that has to open on a date, the site lighting the insurer keeps asking about, the generator the last outage made urgent. Finance the project, open on time, and pay it down out of the operating budget it was always going to come from.

  • Property owners and landlords upgrading service and distribution or lighting across a building
  • General contractors financing our electrical or underground scope on a larger job
  • Restaurants, clinics, offices and retail replacing equipment before it fails
  • Developers and multifamily owners spreading site distribution and EV-ready parking
  • Facility managers who need the work done this quarter and the payment spread over the year

A service upgrade is the kind of project that gets financed: long-lead gear, real labor, and a building that stays open while it is phased in.

Frequently asked questions

Who is actually lending the money?

Credit Key, a business lender that works with Arizona Electrical Solutions. Credit Key approves the application, sets the terms and collects the payments. We are your contractor: we build the project and Credit Key pays us for it. We do not extend account terms, we do not carry a balance, and we do not send invoices. Your payment schedule is with Credit Key.

What can be financed, just the equipment?

The whole project. Our invoice includes the materials and gear, equipment such as rooftop units or generators, our crews' installation labor, trenching and site work, engineering and permit fees, and the sales tax on the job, and that full invoice is what Credit Key finances. You are financing a finished, permitted, inspected project rather than a delivery of equipment.

How much can a business finance?

Lines up to $50,000 come with an instant decision from the online application. Larger lines, from $250,000 up to $1,000,000, are available to qualified businesses with additional documentation and underwriting. Your limit is Credit Key's to set, based on their review of the business.

What are the rates and terms?

Net 30 at 0% interest, then fees starting at 1% a month for longer terms, with terms up to 24 months. There are no setup fees and no hidden fees. Exact terms are set by Credit Key at approval and are subject to credit approval.

Does applying affect the owner's personal credit?

No. Applying does not affect your personal credit score. Credit Key underwrites the business, which is one of the reasons owners prefer it to putting a project on a personal card or a home-equity line.

Can a general contractor use it for your scope on a bigger job?

Yes. A general contractor or an owner can finance our electrical or underground scope on a project we are not otherwise carrying. Get pre-approved, have us bid the scope, and we bill that scope through Credit Key when you accept it.

Is this for businesses only?

Yes. Credit Key underwrites companies on an EIN and business revenue, so the program is built for business customers: property owners, general contractors, facility managers, developers and operating businesses. If your project is at a home, ask us and we will tell you honestly what fits.
