What We Self-Perform

Four Arizona ROC licences under one roof — building, engineering, electrical and mechanical. That combination is the point: it lets us hold a scope end to end instead of handing half of it to somebody else and hoping the two halves meet.

Why self-performing matters on your schedule

On a typical commercial job the electrical scope is split across four or five companies: one trenches, one pours the pad, one sets the gear, one pulls wire, one does the site lighting. Each has its own schedule, its own crew availability and its own reason the delay was somebody else's fault.

We hold all of it. The trench, the duct bank, the pad, the gear, the branch work and the site lighting are the same company under one contract, which means the coordination happens inside our office instead of in your weekly meeting.

  • KB-1 Dual Building Contractor lets us hold the prime contract, not just a trade sub.
  • KA Dual Engineering covers the heavy civil and the work in the public right-of-way — where a CR-11-only contractor has to stop.
  • CR-11 Electrical is the core trade licence.
  • CR-39 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration puts the mechanical and its electrical on one contract.

See the licence numbers and verify them yourself on the credentials page. All four are active and, because Arizona licences are state-issued, all four are valid throughout Maricopa County.

Capabilities

Commercial Electrical

Rough-in through trim, feeders and branch circuits, gear and devices — self-performed on one contract.

Design-Build

One contract for design and construction, with the APS or SRP application and the switchgear submittal opened at concept instead of after award.

Engineering

Load studies, one-lines, panel schedules, photometrics and permit drawing sets, coordinated with APS or SRP from day one.

Service & Distribution

Switchgear, switchboards and the service entrance, coordinated through the APS ESRM or the SRP ESS.

Tenant Improvement

Office, retail, medical and industrial fit-outs priced off the panel and the ceiling rather than off the lease exhibit.

Panel & Service Upgrades

When a building outgrows its service: NEC 220 load calculations, the utility application, CT metering and the cutover outage.

Generators & Transfer Switches

Standby and emergency power for Phoenix commercial buildings — NEC 700/701/702, transfer switches, fuel and load bank testing.

Data Center Electrical

Service and distribution, generator and UPS infrastructure, and white-space fit-out for critical-load facilities in Maricopa County.

Industrial and Manufacturing

Plant distribution, machine connections, high-amperage services and scheduled shutdown work for manufacturing and logistics facilities.

EV Charging Infrastructure

Level 2 and DC fast charging, with the load calculation and the utility make-ready settled before any gear is ordered.

LED Lighting Retrofit

Fixtures, controls and the branch-circuit work a retrofit uncovers, with the Phoenix energy-code amendments that change the scope.

Parking Lot Lighting

Site and parking lot lighting from the trench up: bases, poles, feeders, photometrics and the dark-sky review.

Motor Controls & VFDs

Starters, MCC work, and drive installation and commissioning, with an honest answer on whether the load wants a drive at all.

Underground

Trench, duct bank, conduit and transformer pad for APS and SRP services, self-performed with our own equipment and operators.

Power Studies

Short-circuit, coordination, arc-flash and load-flow studies, the field data behind them, and the label and setting work that follows.

Maintenance and Repair

Scheduled PM, infrared under load, torque verification and repairs on commercial gear — daytime work, not a 24/7 callout board.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only do electrical?

No. We are licensed as a building contractor (KB-1) and an engineering contractor (KA) as well as an electrical contractor (CR-11), and we self-perform underground utilities, concrete pads, trenching and restoration with our own equipment and operators. On many projects we hold the whole contract; on others we are the electrical sub. Either works.

What size projects do you take?

Commercial and industrial work from tenant improvements up through ground-up construction and site infrastructure. We are not set up for single-outlet service calls or same-day trouble calls, and we will tell you so rather than send someone who is not the right fit.

Can you do design-build?

Yes — that is most of what we do. Design-build means one contract covering design and construction, which on electrical work usually shortens the schedule considerably because the service coordination with APS or SRP starts on day one instead of after design is complete.

Do you work as a subcontractor to a general contractor?

Frequently. Send us the plan set, the specification sections and the bid date and we will return a scoped proposal with our inclusions and exclusions written out.

How do I get a price?

Send documents through the contact page — plans, specs, addenda, and the bid date. If you do not have documents yet, describe the problem and we will tell you what is involved and what it typically takes.

Ready to price your Phoenix project?

Send us the plans, the scope, or just the problem. We will tell you what it takes. Call (602) 396-5216 or request a bid online.
